Meet Me

Hello! My name is Erin Maguire and I am a rising technical writer and copyeditor with a focus and passion for meticulous editing and interpersonal connection!

I am currently a senior studying English-Technical Communication at the University of Central Florida where I plan to graduate in December of 2026.

During my time at the University of Central Florida I have completed several courses related to technical writing, project management, and editing. It is in this courses where I have honed in on my skills as a technical writer, editor, and project leader.

Many of my portfolio projects come from ENC 4215-Writing for the Computer Industry, ENC 4293-Documentation & Project Management, ENC 4294-Client-Based Project Management, and ENC 4280-Technical Editing. 

In addition to my time at the University of Central Florida, I have studied at Northern Virginia Community College where I majored in Social Sciences and Flagler College where I majored in Political Science. Both of these programs allowed me to hone in on my research skills, analytical skills, writing and editing skills—all of which allow me to succeed.
